Thursday  – Students will complete the FAFSA student activity packet.

Friday – Class discussion – FAFSA

Monday – School Holiday

Tuesday – Students will review for the test – taxes.

Wednesday – Students will take a test.

Thursday – Students will begin a new unit – paying for college. Students will read articles and participate in class discussions.

Friday – Students will continue with the topic – Paying for College 101.

Monday – Teens and Taxes – class discussion. Students will read an article and answer questions. Students will take notes. Students will complete a quiz.

Tuesday – Students will work through activities involving job paperwork – concentration on the W-4 form.

Wednesday – Students will work through activities involving the filing of taxes – types of forms, tax payments, using the W-2 form.

Thursday – Students will continue working on filing taxes include filing a tax return and use tax preparation software.

Friday – Students will complete a review.

Monday – Teacher Workday

Tuesday – Introduction to personal finance curriculum. Students will take a diagnostic exam.

Wednesday – Class discussion – Paycheck stub. Students will complete an assignment.

Thursday – Teens and Taxes – class discussion, students will watch a video and answer questions.

Friday – Teens and Taxes – class discussion, take notes – vocabulary words. Students will read an article and answer questions.
